Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Place the chicken, skin-side up, in a roasting pan. Roast 40 to 45 minutes, or until cooked through.
When the chicken is 10 minutes from being done, place the remaining ingredients, except green onions, in a small pot and whisk to combine. Bring to a simmer, and simmer 5 minutes, or until lightly thickened and flavourful.
Plate the cooked chicken, top with sauce, sprinkle with green onions and serve.
