  3. 12 fresh basil leaves
  4. 1 small to medium garlic clove, sliced
  5. 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  6. 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  7. 1 to 2 Tbsp. water
  8. Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
