Method

Brush the steaks with oil and place on a plate. Combine all remaining ingredients in a small bowl, then sprinkle and rub on both sides of the steaks. Grill steaks to desired doneness. Allow 2-3 minutes per side for rare, 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, and 4-5 minutes for medium to well.

Recipe Options: Substitute the t-bone with another thick, tender steak, such as rib-eye, rib steak, porterhouse or top sirloin. Add other herbs or spices that appeal to the steak rub. Triple the amount of the herb/spice mixture you make and you will have some ready to go the next time you cook a steak.

Serving Suggestions

Caesar or green salad, potato salad, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, sauteed mushrooms and onions, and sliced, ripe tomatoes are just few of the dishes that would great with the steak.
