How to go into business with Thrifty Foods

Our Local program allows local suppliers to grow at a sustainable pace within our network of stores. You can start out in less than five stores and work with our team to grow.

Local Program Requirements:

Your products are made right here in Canada.
You are locally producing items that will WOW and EXCITE our customers.
Your products are regionally relevant in a local market.
Your product is packaged and ready to be sold.

At Thrifty Foods, our goal is to support diverse-owned businesses and ensure we reflect the communities in which we serve. Through our Local Program, diverse-owned businesses will have access to listing opportunities, resources, and mentorship in effort to help them thrive.

We define “diverse-owned” as businesses that are at least 51% owned and operated by one or more members of the following communities: 2SLGBTQIA+ Black, Indigenous, Persons with Disabilities, Women and Visible Minorities.
