Preheat barbecue to medium-high (about 400˚F
in the chamber). Set plank(s) on one side of the
barbecue. Turn heat underneath the plank(s) to
low and leave the other side set at medium-high.
To cook salmon fillets, close the lid and cook
15 to 18 minutes, or until just cooked through.
(Keep a spray bottle of water handy in case
the board ignites.)
Note: Beyond seafood, other foods, such as
chicken wings, marinated or stuffed vegetables
or potatoes, could also be cooked on a cedar
plank. Cooking times will vary.
