Order fees depend on whether you pickup your order or have it delivered:

Pickup Orders have a $4.95 assembly fee.
Delivery Orders have a $4.95 assembly fee + a $3.00 delivery fee ($7.95 total).

*Select locations are now offering same day orders placed before 10:00am, subject to availability, for an additional $2.00 delivery fee. The assembly and delivery fees will appear in the subtotal of your Shopping Cart once you have chosen pickup or delivery.

Although we strive to offer the same prices online as in our stores, the totals may differ for the following reasons:

• A product substitution has been made and the price differs
• The article is sold by weight (e.g., fruits and vegetables)
• A product was not available
• An additional in-store discount applies to a product
• Additional items requested in the order notes or after your order is placed

You can pay for your groceries online or you can pay when you receive your order.

For online payments, we accept Visa, Mastercard, & American Express. Visa debit, Mastercard debit, and gift cards are not accepted as online payment.

When paying online with a credit card, your card will be pre-authorized for the estimated total for your order plus a 25% contingency fee. This will show as an authorized or pending transaction on your credit card. Once your order is assembled and has been processed at the till, only the actual amount of your order will be charged to your card. It can take 5-10 days for the pending charge to drop, depending on your bank’s processes.

We reserve the right to request to view the credit card used for online payment as well as the corresponding government issued photo ID to release your order.

For delivery orders we accept credit cards, debit cards and Thrifty Foods Smile Cards. Please note we cannot accept cash or Sobeys Gift Cards for delivery orders.

For pickup orders we accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, Thrifty Foods Smile Cards, and Sobeys Gift Cards. Orders picked up curbside must be paid prior to pick up.

Please choose pay upon delivery or pay upon pickup if you have an American credit card and you can pay when you receive your order. We are unable to accept American credit cards for online payment at this time. If you would like to provide a credit card in advance, please call Customer Care at 1-866-948-0196.

To pay online, complete your order, click on "Pay and Place my Order", and then enter the requested information in the "Paysafe" window.

The billing address selected on the payment page must match the address on the credit card statement.

You can update the credit card that you saved online when you are in the “Pay & Submit” page of the checkout process.

When the Paysafe page comes up, it will say “You are about to pay using the selected card”. Click on the words “Forget this card” found underneath your credit card details and then confirm that you want to Forget this card.

You can enter in your new Credit Card information on the Paysafe page that is displayed after removing your previous card. Be sure to have the checkbox selected to store your details for future use so you do not have to re-enter it every time.

Provincial law mandates customers be charged 25 cents/bag used. We will do our best to consolidate your order into as few bags as possible while being mindful of food safety and cross contamination.

If you don’t want your order to be packed in bags, please have reusable bags, paper bags, boxes, etc at your door for our driver to conveniently place your items in. Include a note in your order notes for our teammate to pack your order appropriately for delivery or pick up.
